This session focuses on something very near and dear to us all, yet something that seems to be very elusive and a certain victim of stress. 

It’s JOY! 

Where is the joy in your life right now? 
Does it even play a part in your life?
When did you last experience unadulterated joy? 

You can like what you do – be very successful at it even – yet experience no joy in it.  Have you ever wondered why?  More than likely, it’s because you’ve lost yourself in the endeavor and all the stresses it brings.  You don’t own it, it owns you.

Maybe there’s a way to recapture the joyful, playful kid – yes, kid – that has disappeared because of stress.  You might wonder how that is possible with all of your adult responsibilities and commitments.  But, the key is to mindfully cultivate a carefree attitude towards stress so that you’re not just showing up to life, but showing up with a positive sense of “I’ve got this!”  Figure out the stressor while being lighthearted.  Even play in the challenge.  Pull from the joy deep within you.

Your task today is to remember a time in your life when you felt pure joy; where you were smiling effortlessly; where you were moving your body in a carefree nature. 

Tap that feeling and energy again and bring it forward to your current situation.  See what happens when you do.
